![]() ![]() It sounds like if I uninstall anyDesk from both machines those alias names don't just get released back into the namespace, but remained locked forever to the ID number? (despite being uninstalled.) The new PC does not have the alias of the old PC. But if I copy and overwrite the new PC's anydesk config files with config files from the old PC, will this work? It won't screw anything up with the installation? They are both windows 10 64bit PCs, but they are not cloned images or anything like that.ĮDIT: I just tried copying and overwriting the config files. What's the best way to transfer the alias of the old PC to the new PC?Ĭan I just copy the contents of %programdata%\AnyDesk to the new PC?
